Description
The PETZL Ascension B17A is a handle blocker designed for safe rope climbing. Compatible with ropes 8–13 mm, it provides a comfortable and strong grip thanks to its ergonomic, over-molded handle, optimized for two-handed pulls.
The serrated trigger with evacuation slot ensures reliable performance even in extreme conditions such as mud, snow, or ice. The device also features a large lower hole for easy connection of carabiners or pedal attachments.
Compliant with EN 567/12841 standards, it guarantees safety and efficiency for vertical activities and mountaineering. Available in right-hand or left-hand versions, it adapts to each user’s preference. The upper eyelet allows attachment of a carabiner for auto-locking or pulley use, enhancing its versatility.
